Help little ones keep their pencils, pens and markers organized with this handy, colorful quilted pencil case pattern from Ann Butler. Fat quarter friendly, this pencil case pattern rolls up for easy storage and is able to hold several pencils, making it great for art cases and backpacks. Sew up your pencil case in a pretty ombre fabric (like the sample shown) or a fun printed fabric of your child’s favorite character or animal.
Designer Notes:
- Pre-wash and iron all of your fabric.
- Depending upon the size of your pencils, you may fit two in each section.
- Adjust the distance of the vertical lines if needed for larger or smaller pencils. Also, for other items, you may want such as an eraser or sharpener.
- Use a sliver of soap for marking, as it easily disappears.
