This July, we’re turning back the clock with a vibrant mix of retro-inspired quilts that span decades of color, style and creativity. From the bold black-and-white drama of Sophie Tarrant’s mod houndstooth tote and optical illusion wall hanging to Janice Bailor’s groovy mushroom baby quilt, there’s no shortage of throwback charm. If classic country is more your vibe, Megan Farrell’s scrappy star quilt and Stephanie Woodson’s upcycled sheet quilt (from our sister magazine We Like Sewing) offer a fresh take on familiar favorites. Plus, we’re exploring the timeless beauty of Amish quilting and sharing a roundup of Editor’s Picks from past issues. Whether you lean retro or rustic, there’s something here to spark your imagination.
