Americana Shoofly Quilt Block Pattern

Shoofly quilt blocks are a staple of American quilting, and we’re so happy to share this traditional block pattern from Staci Wendland made in vibrant red, white, and blue. Finishing at a 12” block, this shoofly block pattern is a great way to use solid fat quarters that you’ve been saving up and its bold yet simple design begs for you to play with color. Try making your block in neutrals like black, white, or navy, or quilt in trending colors for a modern look.
