Happy April, We Like Quilting readers! Spring weather is here, the cloudy skies of March are gone, and symbols of growth and transformation abound. Our brand spankin’ new issue of WLQ is filled with projects inspired by this cheerful season, from a refashioning project that breathes new life into an old tee to a beautiful wall hanging reminiscent of spring tulip fields. Brenda Plaster shares a butterfly-inspired throw quilt in shades of blue, while Joy Heimark shows you how to make a snail trail quilt block jam packed with color. Empty your overflowing scrap basket by piecing together a charming doll quilt or sewing a bold rag quilt cushion. Spring is the perfect time for starting a new project, and we can’t wait for you to see the patterns featured in this month’s issue.
